STINSON RUGBY FIELD

Stinson Rugby Field, dedicated in 2013 thanks to the genorsity of Ken & Ann Stinson, and in memory of Bob Mier, founder of the Rugby Football Club at Notre Dame, is one of the premier rugby facilities in America.  One of the only World Rugby sanctioned surfaces in the United States, Stinson Rugby Field is flanked by a 500 seat stand (plus ADA seating) and a fully equipped press box with audio to the west, and a covered and enclosed team bench and officials space to the east. The only one of it's kind in the country, Stinson Rugby Field is equiped with 4 fixed HD Bird Dog PTZ cameras with fiber optic connectivity to ND Studios in the Martin Media Center, where all home matches and tournaments are broadcast live, around the world. The adjacent Ricci Building houses a team locker room for use in season and on game days.
